We are seeking a passionate and experienced Independent Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently in the kitchen, managing daily operations, and preparing high-quality dishes according to our menu standards. You will be responsible for maintaining hygiene, controlling stock, and ensuring timely service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook Indian (or relevant cuisine) dishes according to set recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations (HACCP compliance)
• Independently manage the kitchen during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and timely preparation
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
• Ensure food quality, taste, and portion control
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in developing new menu items when required
• Train and guide junior staff if applicable

Gevraagd

Requirements:
• Minimum 0-6 months of experience as an independent or line cook (preferably in Indian or ethnic cuisine)
• Knowledge of HACCP and Dutch food safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility in working hours (weekends, evenings, holidays)
• Good communication skills (English or Dutch)

Aanbod

Culinary degree or professional cooking certification
• Experience in vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free food preparation
