Are you a driven leader with a passion for safe and efficient operations? Join our team as Terminal Manager at the Eems Energy Terminal in Eemshaven. You will be responsible for overseeing all operations, maintenance, and service delivery, ensuring excellent operational, cost, and SHEQ performance.

EET is a liquid natural gas import terminal in the port of Eemshaven. The terminal is part of critical infrastructure for European energy security and plays a key role in supporting the transition to renewable energy. EET is a joint venture between Gasunie and Vopak.

Terminal Manager is in charge of the operating organisation (employees, processes and assets) and member of the Management Team, reporting to the Managing Director of EET. The position is based in Eemshaven/Groningen.

You will be responsible for

• Performance of the terminal in terms of safety, compliance, sustainability, service delivery and asset integrity.

• Development and guidance of the operating organization.

• Multi-year plans (terminal master plan) to match the business strategy and commercial plans and forecasts.

• Improvements in processes and asset modifications.

• Maintenance plans and operating capex projects.

• Management of the key operational contracts, including the Time Charter Party contracts of two FSRU vessels.

• Alignment and coordination with key stakeholders, including the FSRU shipowners, gas transmission operator, port authority and others.

• Internal customer role for the terminal lifetime extension.

• A gross salary between €100.000 - €135.000 depending on your experience, knowledge and seniority in the role

What We Expect

• Bachelor or Master degree.

• Minimal 10 years experience in an operational management role.

• Proven Safety leadership and service mindedness.

• Entrepreneurial, energetic personality, initiative, self-motivated.

• Focus on continuous improvement and disciplined execution.

• Excellent leadership skills, directing performance, ability to connect with all levels in the organisation.

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills in English and preferable in Dutch.
