You’ll push brick carts, clean joints, cut bricks and make sure the mortar is ready on time. As a junior bricklayer, you support the bricklaying team on site. While working, you learn the trade hands-on and gain real experience on a major housing project in Brielle (NL).

You’ll be part of a small crew of four guys. Every morning at 06:00, you’ll travel you’re your new colleagues from Papendrecht, Hardinxveld or Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht to the building site in Brielle. Together, you're working on building 86 new homes. Skilled bricklayers/stonemasons will guide you step by step. Around 15:15 your workday ends and you’ll head back home.

About the company
Your new employer is responsible for all the brickwork on this site. The atmosphere is straightforward, the approach is hands-on and the teamwork is solid. Everyone helps each other. The project runs until summer 2026, providing you with job security and time to grow in your work as a Junior Bricklayer. You’ll work with experienced bricklayers/stonemasons who are more than happy to share their knowledge. You’ll learn something new every day and yes, getting your hands dirty is part of the deal.

What you can expect from this job

• A gross monthly salary between €2600 and €3050 based on 40 hours;
• 25 paid holidays & 8.33% holiday pay;
• Pension plan and travel allowance of €0.23 per km according to the Dutch Construction CAO (collective labour agreement);

You are

• Experienced on a construction site (at least 1 year);
• Motivated, hands-on and eager to learn more about bricklaying;
• Someone who works well in a team and likes working outdoors;
• Based in the Drechtsteden region or willing to ride along with colleagues;
• Able to communicate in basic English or Dutch;
• Positive, reliable and not afraid of physical work.
