Our client, a leader in treasury management software, is rapidly growing across Europe and expanding its sales team. They are looking for a proactive Business Development Representative to join their Amsterdam office and drive sales efforts within the UK, Irish & Benelux market.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the early stages of the sales process by executing both inbound and outbound sales activities and following up on marketing leads. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding the customer base and achieving sales goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients using tools like Cognism and Salesloft.
  • Reach out to prospects and schedule sales meetings.
  • Prepare presentations and occasionally conduct initial customer discovery calls.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials.
  • Systematically build and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Keep sales activities updated in Salesloft and Salesforce CRM.
  • Generate sales forecasts based on pipeline data.
  • Facilitate collaboration between customers and the sales team.
  • Actively contribute to sales targets alongside the Nordic sales, marketing, and sales operations teams.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role within a B2B setting. Experience in fintech is a plus.
  • A background in identifying and securing new business, with the ability to engage C-level executives using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Proficiency with sales CRM tools like Salesforce, and familiarity with prospecting tools such as Cognism, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
