This is a versatile job within a growing pharmaceutical company in Limburg (NL). As analytical method specialist, you will be working on 3-4 projects at a time. In these projects you will be responsible for responsible for development and validation of analytical methods (mainly HPLC) and for writing the protocols and reports needed for method transfer (both internal and external). In this role you will perform desk work as well as hands-on method development, making this a diverse job. 

Your tasks include (but are not limited to): 

  • Hands-on development and validation of analytical methods under GMP standards; including writing protocols. 
  • Act as an analytical method specialist in project team meetings as well in meetings with external parties like clients and suppliers.
  • Contribute to improvement of laboratory processes.
  • Facilitate tech-transfers of the developed methods. 
  • Provide input regarding feasibility of new projects. 

Wie zoeken we?

For this versatile position we are looking for a laboratory professional with the following profile: 

  • BASc (HLO) or MSc degree in the field of (analytical) chemistry.
  • 5+ years of work experience within a commercial (pharmaceutical) laboratory. 
  • Several years of experience with development and validation of analytical methods. 
  • Excellent knowledge of HPLC analysis.
  • Work experience in a regulated environment, preferably under GMP standards.
  • You are able to work on several projects at the same time and are able to keep a good overview of them. 
  • You enjoy both the hands-on side as well as the administrative and project side of the development and validation process. 
  • Good command of the English language; both verbal and written. 
  • You are eligible to work in The Netherlands.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Permanent position, starting off with a 12 month contract
  • Salary of €4000 - €5000 gross per month based on a fulltime work week
  • Versatile job for 32-40 hours/week
