As Product Manager Modern Workplace, you are the key figure behind the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Modern Workplace environment. You connect the business, IT teams, and end users, ensuring that the Modern Workplace aligns with organizational goals and delivers an optimal user experience. You define the product vision, manage the backlog, and maximize the value of our Modern Workplace solutions by streamlining processes and driving innovation.

What you will do

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the Modern Workplace, aligned with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Identify trends and opportunities in Modern Workplace technologies and translate them into concrete initiatives.
  • Create and manage the Modern Workplace roadmap.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the business, end users, and other stakeholders.
  • Actively gather feedback and requirements from stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations and communicate progress and results.

Product Backlog Management

  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, including features, user stories, and technical improvements.
  • Ensure the backlog is transparent and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Refine backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.

Life-Cycle Management

  • Define and monitor the life-cycle strategy for hardware and software within the Modern Workplace.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management, Procurement, and IT Operations for an efficient life-cycle process (planning, procurement, implementation, management, maintenance, disposal).
  • Initiate and follow up on activities such as hardware refreshes and software updates.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT teams (Modern Workplace team, IT Operations, Security, Application Management) to deliver the backlog.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication within and between teams.
  • Ensure shared goals and priorities.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

  • Monitor the performance and usage of the Modern Workplace environment.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Initiate and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and efficiency.

Budget and Cost Management

  • Co-responsible for drafting and monitoring the Modern Workplace budget.
  • Ensure cost-effective implementation and management.

Documentation and Training

  • Ensure clear documentation of the Modern Workplace.
  • Support the development of training and communication for end users.


Gevraagd

  • Higher professional or academic working and thinking level (HBO/WO), preferably in IT, Business IT Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an IT environment.
  • Knowledge of Modern Workplace concepts and technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, HelloID, Microsoft Intune, cloud-based solutions, endpoint management).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, results-oriented work attitude with strong organizational skills.
  • Affinity with improving user experiences and IT processes.
