The Procurement Analyst, part of the Procurement Development Team, supports category strategy development, sourcing, supplier selection, and contracting. Reporting to the Lead Procurement Development, the role focuses on improving tools, processes, and insights aligned with the Procurement Strategy. The analyst provides systems and analytical support to procurement managers, enabling data-driven decisions and enhancing Source to Contract effectiveness.

Description

Process Development and Optimization 

• Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Source to Contract processes for non-commercial goods.  

• Assist in initiatives to streamline procurement operations, reduce complexity and enhance compliance.

• Develop and maintain robust documentation and knowledge management systems.

Strategic Analysis and Reporting

Deliver high quality procurement reports and dashboards (e.g., savings tracking, supplier performance, spend analysis).

• Provide analytical support to RFx processes and category strategy development.

• Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Stakeholder engagement and Support

Act as key point of contact for Procurement Managers regarding tools, processes and data insights.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement practices with business needs.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics or a related field (NEVI 1 required, NEVI 2 preferred). 

• 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement analysis or strategic sourcing.

• Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba) and data analytics platforms.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
