Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support a wide range of technical initiatives within a highly regulated and multidisciplinary environment. You’ll work closely with a team of engineers, specialists, and suppliers to develop technical solutions, while also supporting the project manager throughout the entire lifecycle, from definition through delivery.

This role demands a proactive mindset and the ability to weigh technical objectives against broader project interests. You will help steer the project toward an optimal technical outcome, all while maintaining a sharp focus on safety, quality, timelines, and cost.

As a central technical figure within the project, you will coordinate both internal experts and external partners across engineering disciplines such as electrical systems and instrumentation. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, and drive progress will be essential, especially within the complex nuclear domain of our client’s operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering and/or Measurement & Control Technology (HBO level or equivalent)
• 5–7 years of relevant technical experience, ideally with coordination responsibilities
• Proven track record in the design of technical installations with a strong emphasis on safety
• Experience planning, facilitating, monitoring, and steering project progress and design modifications
• Skilled in drafting and reviewing technical documentation (design specs, drawings, FAT/SAT/SIT protocols, implementation plans, risk assessments)
• Solid experience in multidisciplinary projects from initiation to execution
• Familiarity with project management tools such as SAP, MS Project, or Primavera
• Training or certification in PRINCE2, IPMA, or similar methodologies preferred
• Experience in nuclear or medical environments is a plus, but not required
• Must be eligible for a security clearance (Certificate of Conduct – VOG required)
