Your job

As the Accountant Specialist, you'll step in as a key support, ensuring everything keeps running smoothly. 
You’ll be entrusted with:

• managing accounts receivable – including reconciliation, clearing, and monitoring due dates, with follow-up on late payments;
• issuing and settling inter-company invoices – ensuring accurate billing and performing settlement procedures;
• processing refunds, credit notes, and corrections of outgoing invoices based on customer requests;
• support of the VAT tax returns preparation; 
• carrying out period-end activities – ensuring timely, complete, and accurate entries in the books.

What do you bring to the table?

You are calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and always looking for a smarter way to work. 
You will succeed in this role if you bring:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role;
• a relevant educational background;
• sharp organizational skills and a hands-on, flexible mindset;
• strong English communication skills (written and verbal);
• the ability to stay focused and reliable in a busy, fast-moving environment.

The following skills are considered a plus:

• experience with NetSuite;
• familiarity with Dutch VAT requirements;
• skilled at streamlining processes and optimizing everyday tasks.
