Senior Engineer - Plans and Arrangements (Outfitting) Vlissingen • Middle Point

Job description 

• Design and develop outfitting arrangements (accommodation & technical spaces).
• Execute engineering tasks in 2D/3D tools (Cadmatic, Catia).
• Ensure compliance with regulations and customer specifications.
• Create and review technical drawings, lists, and fabrication documentation.
• Coordinate with teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support for design, production, and installation.
• Contribute to process improvement and develop yard standards.
• Mentor colleagues and support department growth.

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• +4 years’ experience in outfitting design for ships (accommodation & technical spaces).
• Proficient in CAD tools (Cadmatic, CATIA/3DExperience).
• Knowledge of shipbuilding standards, class rules, and production processes.
• Ability to create arrangements, lists, and fabrication/mounting drawings.
• Strong understanding of functionality, maintainability, and ergonomics.
• Good command of the English language written & verbal.
• Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening are a standard part of the recruitment procedure.
• EU citizenship

• An attractive monthly salary of €4.000 – €6.000, based on your experience
• Application for the 30% ruling (expat tax advantage)
