About the Opportunity

Bitvavo UX team is looking for a Senior User Experience Writer (Content Designer) to help shape how we communicate with users across our product ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll craft clear, compelling, and user-centered content that enhances every step of the user journey. You’ll be part of a growing, cross-functional UX team where content and design work hand in hand to deliver intuitive, meaningful experiences that support both user needs and business goals.

We believe great user experiences happen when content and design are perfectly aligned, creating a cohesive narrative that empowers users to confidently achieve their goals. As a UX Writer at Bitvavo, you’ll do exactly that. You'll support a range of product initiatives by collaborating closely with product designers, researchers, and product managers to shape the language that defines our platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to have real impact: not just by writing copy, but by helping define how content lives and scales within the product.

What You'll Be Doing

• Craft clear, consistent narratives and microcopy that enhance customer experiences across the product ecosystem.
• Write product content that is clear, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand’s voice and tone guidelines.
• Deliver the right information at the right time to guide users seamlessly through their product journey.
• Support the development and evolution of content frameworks, product narratives, and voice & tone guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (designers, researchers, product managers, and more) to create solutions that balance user needs with business goals.

What We Look For

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a UX Writer or in a similar content design role within a UX or product team.
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing/Communications, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication skills.
• Confident working with a variety of digital tools and able to quickly adapt to new systems and workflows, with a strong focus on efficiency and collaboration.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
• Based in the Netherlands or open to relocation.
• Experience in the crypto, fintech, blockchain, or Web3 sectors is highly valued. 
• Knowledge of the German market is a plus.
