What is the role about?

As our (Senior) Strategy & Execution Associate, you will be an integral part of our CEO Office. You’ll report to Senior Strategy & Execution Manager, and work closely together with our CEO. You’ll be heavily involved in shaping and executing Bitvavo’s strategy, while driving meaningful cross-functional initiatives. Whether leading company-wide projects, conducting market analysis, defining new processes, or improving our organizational structure, you will have a direct impact on our strategic direction and operational excellence. How will you make an impact?

• Develop and steer company-wide initiatives: You will spearhead large-scale, cross-functional projects from ideation to execution. By ensuring teams stay aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables, you’ll help drive sustainable, long-term growth.
• Facilitate strategic decision-making: Partner with leadership to translate big-picture vision into concrete actions. You will define key objectives, set measurable targets, and monitor the company’s performance against them.
• Own internal communication and alignment: You’ll be a key pillar for top-down communication, e.g., by preparing strategy offsites, leadership team updates, or all hands. You’ll make sure the right messages reach the right people at the right time.
• Support our leadership team: Work closely with various departments to identify strategic opportunities, uncover potential bottlenecks, and define solutions. This can also include tackling ad-hoc requests.

How will you be successful?

• 2-4 + years of proven experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or high-growth environments, with a strong track record of tackling complex, cross-functional challenges.
• Interest in crypto: Given we aim to become the #1 crypto exchange in Europe, it is highly beneficial if you are passionate about the crypto industry and know the products and players involved.
• Ownership and service mindset: You thrive on taking initiative, seeing projects through, and measuring success by the organization’s achievements rather than your own spotlight.
• Analytical expertise: You excel at diving into topics, performing analyses, deriving actionable insights, and presenting them in a concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication skills: You are comfortable creating and delivering presentations, facilitating town halls, and shaping executive communication.

Adaptable and collaborative: You flourish in dynamic environments, pivot quickly when priorities shift, and easily build trust across diverse teams.
