You’re an engaged leader working together and leading your team to succes!

The lead engineer yacht constructions is an engaged leader in the project team. He directs, but in the meantime works with the team, project leaders and collaboration partners!

Your work includes

• To coordinate and review the structural design with production, the project team, and the structural designer.
  
• To lead the engineers within your team in terms of content while setting up the structural model in the pre-and primary engineering phases and determining the appropriate priorities.
  
• To coordinate with the project team and structural designer on practical design and engineering issues.
  
• To coordinate with the project team and large equipment suppliers on differentiation and integration into the construction.
  
• To review the engineering information and the subcontracting partners at each phase.
  
• To provide support to the engineers within your own team.
  
• To contribute to the improvement proposals, standards, working methods, processes, and procedures.

You

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or you have a secondary vocational education with relevant working experience;
  
• Have experience with the construction of ships and/or (super) yachts;
  
• Recognize yourself in the following competencies: leadership, results and quality orientated, and flexibility;
  
• Have experience with CadMatic Hull, AutoCad, and Rhino 3D;
  
• Are proactive and a proud passionated professional who is eager to learn.
