Are you an experienced electrical technician who ensures technical installations run safely and reliably? We’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Specialist to oversee electrical safety and compliance across a pharmaceutical production facility. In this role, you will ensure that all electrical systems meet current regulations (such as NEN 3140), and you’ll coordinate safe maintenance and inspections for a range of installations—lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, controls, fire detection, and evacuation systems.

You will act as the go-to expert for electrical safety, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to guarantee high-quality and compliant operations in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Requirements:

• MBO-4 level education in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field

• Extensive hands-on experience with electrical installations in a production or industrial environment

• Solid knowledge of NEN 3140, NEN 1010, and other relevant safety standards

• Proven experience as (or ambition to become) an Installation Responsible (Installatieverantwoordelijke) under Dutch regulations

• High level of independence, attention to detail, and strong focus on safety and quality

Desirable Requirements:

• Familiarity with LOTOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out) procedures

• Experience managing and coaching external vendors and maintenance contractors

• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into safe, long-term technical solutions

• Comfort with digital maintenance systems and structured reporting

• Location: Pharmaceutical production site in Haarlem, the Netherlands

• Contract: Full-time (40 hours/week)

• Salary: €3,000 – €6,500 gross/month depending on experience
