Are you detail-oriented and eager to develop your skills in compliance and business support? For our Animal Health, Commercial Organization Benelux Cluster in Boxmeer, we are looking for a:

Business Support Assistant

Welcome to our team

At our company, we are committed to supporting our Sales teams and ensuring compliance across our business units. In this team you will play a vital role within the Compliance and Business Support Center by providing essential administrative and compliance-related support.

Purpose of the role

As Business Support Assistant you will be responsible for routine compliance and business support tasks, assisting with financial processes, coordinating with multiple teams and ensuring adherence to governance and compliance standards. You will be the key point of contact for compliance discussions and support the organization in maintaining accurate records and timely reporting. This position offers a collaborative environment where you can grow your expertise and contribute to smooth operational processes.

Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Benelux organization, ensuring timely and proactive coordination between units.
  • Perform routine compliance and business support assignments, applying established procedures and basic judgment to resolve inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain accurate contact details, organize travel and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Support financial processes including purchase order compliance, supplier creation, order-to-payment follow-up, company card expense management and budget monitoring.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales teams and other departments to support compliance activities and ensure clear communication.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, training sessions and events related to compliance and sales support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to contribute to team effectiveness.
  • Track compliance deadlines and reporting requirements, responding to standard client requests with clear and accurate information.
  • Continuously develop competence through structured work assignments and contribute to process improvements.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably within pharmaceutical or animal health industries.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English; basic understanding of French is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP, Ariba, Concur or similar systems is advantageous.
