You will be part of the Electrical, Instrumentation & Process Control department, a dynamic team responsible for the electrical, instrumentation, and control systems in industrial engineering projects. This group plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions across various sectors.
Many of the projects you’ll contribute to are located at the Chemelot industrial site, where our client supports several leading companies in the chemical industry. These projects focus on innovation, energy efficiency, and emission reduction in complex chemical plant environments.

Our client is a leading engineering and consultancy firm with a long-standing history of delivering innovative solutions that help industrial partners transition to sustainable operations. For their office in Elsloo, they are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer who will take a key role in designing and coordinating electrical systems for high-impact projects across the energy transition landscape.

YYou will take ownership of the electrical scope from concept through delivery. You’ll serve as a technical liaison to clients, ensuring high-quality designs, staying on top of budgets and schedules, and leading a team of engineers across various project phases. The projects you’ll work on are diverse and challenging, ranging from low-voltage installations to complex systems with power loads up to 20 MVA and high-voltage grid connections up to 150 kV.

This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with other engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and process engineering. You will also mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing within the team. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in industrial, multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Proven ability to coordinate electrical design scope, planning, and budget
• Strong knowledge of modern electrical design concepts and cost estimation practices
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and proficient in Dutch (preferred)
• Experienced in leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff
