The Company
The company is a global pharmaceutical company originally from Germany. They have multiple locations in the Netherlands, one focusing on animal health.

Role Description
As a Packaging Operator, you will play a key role in the packaging of pharmaceutical products using fully automated packaging lines. This includes setting up and converting machines, resolving technical issues, and performing first-line maintenance. You’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of packaging and production processes using Lean Six Sigma methods. A solid technical understanding and eagerness to learn are essential, along with a strong sense of responsibility for contributing to the health and well-being of people and animals. You truly have the opportunity to make a difference. You will report to the Manager Operations and work within the ATM shift schedule, which includes night shifts. 

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging and production equipment, including setup, changeovers, cleaning, and line clearance.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the packaging process.
  • Accurately complete documentation, both handwritten and in SAP, ensuring compliance with First Time Right principles.
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions and carry out basic technical maintenance.
  • Actively support process improvements through Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies. 

Requirements

  • A completed MBO level 2 diploma or willingness to obtain it; candidates with a lower-level diploma may be assessed via an MBO assessment.
  • Preferably experience in technical operations, ideally within pharmaceutical packaging environments.
  • Proficient in Dutch (spoken and written); English is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills and interest in machinery and processes.
  • Precise, independent, motivated, and dependable.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and SAP systems.
