We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help drive the design, deployment, and automation of scalable cloud and hybrid systems powering mission-critical operations across a global industrial and manufacturing environment. From modernising on-prem infrastructure to building robust, cloud-native platforms, you will help shape a secure, high-performance IT foundation for a growing international enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Gelderland, Netherlands
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: By agreement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure.
- Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools, primarily Terraform.
- Maintain hybrid platforms including on-premises virtualisation and cloud environments
- Automate deployment and operations processes using DevOps tooling and scripting
- Monitor and optimise infrastructure performance, availability, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to cloud security, backup, and monitoring strategies across global systems
- Bachelors degree in IT or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and hosting environments (cloud and on-prem)
- Strong working knowledge of Azure cloud services
- Experience with Terraform and familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English
