As a warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, you’ll work part-time as an order picker. Your day starts at 5:45 a.m., giving you time to get your gear ready and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. At 6:00 a.m., there’s a team briefing where important updates are shared. After that, you’ll get to work with your colleagues.

What does the role of order picker at Royal FloraHolland involve?You’ll drive an electric cart to collect flower trolleys from the warehouse. You then connect the cart to your headset. Through this headset, you’ll receive instructions about where to deliver the flowers. The headset guides you from location to location, telling you how many buckets to move at each stop. Once your cart is empty, you pick up a new one. You and your team repeat this process until all the trolleys are sorted.

The finishing time varies day by day, since no two days are the same. Usually you’ll finish between 10:00 and 12:00 p.m., but sometimes it might be a bit earlier or later.
