Every morning, your day starts at 06:00. After clocking in, you head straight to the daily briefing. Together with your team leader and colleagues, you discuss the key points: safety, areas for improvement, and the expected end time of your shift, usually between 10:00 and 13:00, depending on how busy it is.

Sometimes you finish early, other times you work a bit longer. This flexibility makes the job easy to combine with family, hobbies, or another job.

After the briefing, you check the screen to see how many carts you need to process that day. You put on your headset, hop on your tugger, and get to work. The headset tells you exactly where to go and which flowers and plants to collect. You follow the numbers in the hall and work through your list step by step. Everything is well-organized, so you can work efficiently.

Safety comes first. You drive calmly and with focus through the hall. You’re constantly on the move, but thanks to the tugger, there’s no heavy lifting involved making the work physically manageable.

You move flowers and plants to the correct locations in the hall. At the final destination, you scan the barcode on the floor and check whether the number of flowerpots or plant pots is correct. Then you return your cart and clock out. Sometimes you’re done by 10:00, sometimes a bit later but either way, you still have most of the day ahead of you.

We’re looking for new team members. As a logistics employee, you help keep the work flowing. Your tasks include collecting and moving carts to the correct locations in the hall using a tugger, scanning floor barcodes for accurate registration, and checking the number of flowerpots and plant pots.

Through Actief Werkt!, you’ll start working at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer. Royal FloraHolland has been connecting flower growers and buyers for over 100 years and is the largest flower auction in the world. We operate in three locations: Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg, and Aalsmeer. This vacancy is specifically for the Aalsmeer location.

Actief Werkt! has an office right at the flower auction, just next to the work floor. This makes it easy for you to drop by for a chat or if you have any questions. We’re here to support you from Monday to Friday!

✅ A starting salary of €16.04 gross per hour, or an all-in salary of €17.73 gross per hour
