Summer Job: Laboratory Assistant – Chemical Section | 5-Shift Schedule
Wat ga je allemaal doen?
Are you studying or recently graduated in chemistry or a related field and looking for a full-time summer job in a professional laboratory setting? Join our Chemical Section as a Laboratory Assistant, where you’ll play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, performing analyses, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months, ideal for MBO-4 level students or graduates eager to gain experience in a production laboratory environment. What you’ll do:
- Safely handle, treat, and analyze lab samples and wastewater from the treatment plant;
- Conduct chemical tests and improve analysis processes in line with lab protocols;
- Monitor and operate the oxidizer installation used in chemical processing;
- Ensure all work complies with wastewater quality standards and environmental regulations;
- Check incoming chemical raw materials to verify they meet product specifications.
En waar we op hameren
- MBO level 4 education, preferably in chemistry, chemical technology, or a similar discipline;
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures, testing methods, and lab equipment;
- Basic knowledge of production processes and quality testing standards;
- Ability to maintain and safely use lab tools and machines;
- Understanding of ISO, BRC, and HACCP standards and regulations;
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
Naast persoonlijk contact
- A temporary full-time job for approximately 3 months (starting as soon as possible);
- Work in a rotating 5-shift schedule (06:00–14:00 | 14:00–22:00 | 22:00–06:00);
- Hourly wage of €22.89, including shift allowance;
- Travel allowance of €0.23/km – no maximum distance.
