Senior UX Designer Groenlo • Nedap

As the technological leader in our sector, we provide optimal support and relief to care organisations. Within the Ons Suite, our messaging module enables professionals to communicate seamlessly. For the Scheduling and Planning teams, we’re looking for a strong Senior UX Researcher/Designer with a flair for visual design who always puts user needs first and translates them into inspiring solutions.
As a Senior UX Designer, you

• Own the entire design process—from the initial service blueprint through to implementation and adoption—working closely with your team;

• Map user needs in terms of user flows, design, and information architecture;

• Use data-driven insights, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis in collaboration with a data scientist.

• User Research: Conduct extensive qualitative user research to uncover user needs;

• Vision Alignment: Support Product Owners in (further) developing the product vision from a user-centric perspective;

• Requirements Translation: Translate functional requirements into product form;

• Interface Design: Design and validate inspiring, user-friendly interfaces;

• UX Advocacy: Champion and promote UX within the development team;

• Facilitation: Run workshops and demos with internal and external stakeholders.

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer who brings both expertise and leadership to champion the UX and design process within our teams.
You also meet the following criteria:

• Experience: 7–10 years’ experience in UX/design with a strong portfolio;

• Requirements Translation: Proven ability to set up processes that capture requirements and user needs, translating them into designs and flows;

• Design Methods: Familiarity with Service Blueprints, User Journeys, and Personas;

• User Research: Experience conducting qualitative research and deriving quantitative insights;

• Figma Proficiency: Figma expert with prior work in a design system;

• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of logistics processes and healthcare is a plus, not a must;

• Initiative: Proactive, initiative-taking, able to craft and evangelise a clear UX vision;

• Communication: Excellent communication skills and a knack for uncovering user needs and conveying design intent to the team;

• Language: Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
  
  Good to know: You are available for 38 hours per week. Hybrid (remote) working is common at Nedap, and you and your team agree on your own working hours for a healthy work-life balance. Ideally, you are present at least two days a week on our campus in Groenlo.
