Company information

Our client is seeking a motivated engineer to provide expert advice to both internal and external stakeholders on the safe operation of nuclear and high-pressure/high-temperature installations. In this role, you'll be responsible for the continued safe operation (CSO) and ageing management (AM) of nuclear systems, while working closely with clients, design teams, and researchers

Your responsibilities include reviewing mechanical and structural technical documentation, performing calculations, preparing reports, and overseeing design work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on the design, analysis, and ongoing performance of nuclear facilities.

In addition to technical tasks, you’ll actively support the growth of knowledge and capabilities within the team through involvement in applied research. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development, both in technical depth and broader project-based skills.

You will be part of a diverse and collaborative Asset Integrity team made up of international professionals. With expertise in mechanical and structural engineering, the team works to support the safe implementation and continued operation of complex systems by solving engineering challenges through a regulation-driven approach.

What do you need
  • Master’s degree in nuclear, mechanical, or structural engineering
  • Strong advisory mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Practical approach with a motivation to learn on the job
  • Understanding of mechanical and structural analysis principles; FEA experience is a plus
  • Ideally 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Familiarity with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (preferred)
  • Experience with continued safe operation (CSO) or long-term operation (LTO) of nuclear facilities is a strong asset
