Job Description: Indian Cook

As an Indian Cook, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes and maintaining the quality and taste consistency of the menu items. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and meet the culinary expectations of the guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, cook and present a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes.
2. Ensure proper storage, handling and preparation of ingredients.
3. Maintain hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
4. Work with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
5. Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes.
6. Develop and adapt menus according to seasonality and customer preferences.
7. Instruct kitchen staff on the preparation and presentation of Indian dishes.
8. Work according to the established recipes and standards.
9. Actively participate in creating new dishes and improving existing menu items.
10. Be responsible for managing the kitchen inventory.

Job Requirements:

Experience and education are not required for this position. But it will be an advantage because the Indian cooking style is very much different than the other European cooking. There are so many kinds of spices and herbs used compared to the European cooking. If you have no knowledge, no education and experience with any kind of professional kitchen, no problem, we will arrange 3/6 months of training for you. Which will be approximately over 300 hours of step-by-step training.
