As a senior software engineer you are working with the other engineers on your agile team and the other agile teams in the same sub-domain. You work on designs and architecture with our software and system architects, and take into account security and safety aspects in your code and that of your team. Since we are working with classified information, we require all employees to undergo a screening by the AIVD or MIVD (level B).

You will work (among others) with the following tools and techniques:

• Agile/Scrum software development
• C++, CMake, real-time software development
• Continuous Integration & Delivery
• Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GitLab
• Unit Testing (Google-Test), Test Automation, Cucumber
• Matlab, SimuLink (is a plus, not necessary)

• Is passionate about technology;
• Is a team-player;
• Wants to contribute to a safe and secure society;
• Graduated at least Bachelor level in the area of software engineering or similar with a talent for C++;
• Finds pleasure in rapidly mastering new domains and techniques;
• At least 8 to 10 years of recent, relevant professional experience in C++ development;

Language Requirements:Fluent in Dutch & English (critical for the role).

Security Requirement:Dutch nationals only (due to security clearance requirements).
