In this role of Jr Controller (32-40 hours per week), you will primarily support all financial systems of this globally operating company. You'll help improve systems and controls to ensure they remain an agile and professional organization that constantly seeks growth and development. The Controller reports directly to the Finance Manager in Amsterdam, who reports to the CFO.

Description

• Act as Controller for two separate business units (30%)
• Responsible for coordination with the Supply Chain department regarding the processing of incoming goods flows (20%);
• Work together with the Controller and Finance Manager to ensure a smooth month-end closing process (20%);
• Various ad-hoc projects (20%);
• Assist the Finance Manager with various general ledger-related tasks (10%).

Profile

• Positive mindset, detail-oriented, analytical, team player, able to handle constantly changing circumstances, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
• MBO or Bachelor in a finance-related field;
• Sensitivity to cultural differences, as they operate globally;
• Dutch and/or English speaking. The workplace culture and language are predominantly Dutch, but welcome internationals with an EU work permit;
• Digital affinity, experienced with ERP systems and an affinity for data analytics, PowerBI, etc.
