What is important for this position?

• You have experience in technical/mechanical assembly and enjoy working technically;
• You don't mind working in different departments within assembly;
• You are a real team player with good communication skills, but you also enjoy working alone;
• Safety, quality and a good workflow are paramount to you;
• You speak Dutch and/or English;
• You own a car or can get to the location by bicycle. Unfortunately there is poor accessibility by public transport.

As an Assembly Mechanic at Heras, you will work in a close-knit team on high-quality outdoor security products. You will ensure that sliding gates are assembled and tested perfectly. With technical drawings at hand, you and your colleagues will ensure the smooth, error-free assembly of gates and fencing systems.

Below we have listed the most common jobs for you:

• Reading technical drawings and working documents;
• Assembling and wiring electrical components;
• Assembling mechanical parts;
• Checking, testing and adjusting products ;
• Identifying and resolving malfunctions;
• Maintaining a tidy workplace.
