Job Overview

As the new Finance Manager, you will be directly responsible for the financial management, reporting, and process optimization for Turner ECS in the Netherlands. You will work closely with the Finance Director, and manage and work together with the accountant /controller.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with solid finance experience, strong knowledge of Dutch financial practices, and some managerial experience (small teams/teams of 2-3).

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and execute financial processes, including accounting, budgeting, project costing, and internal reporting.

· Manage all cost allocations for both projects (such as for Woodward panels) and client services (including billable hours for field and workshop engineers), even when project invoicing is not linear or parallel to services delivered.

· Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.

· Ensure compliance with Dutch tax and regulatory requirements; liaise with auditors as needed.

· Provide clear financial insight to support business decision-making and ongoing company growth.

· Lead and develop a small, high-performing finance team.

· Identify and implement process improvements and digital automation initiatives.

Your Profile:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Controlling, or a related field.

· At least 5 years’ finance experience in a commercial, industrial, or technical environment (Dutch experience with BV’s is essential).

· Some managerial or team lead experience—leading a small team or working as a senior finance specialist.

· Strong knowledge of Dutch financial and tax regulations.

· Experience with project costing, service engineering invoicing (where invoicing may not follow project milestones), and managing complex cost structures.

· Full professional in English- Dutch is definitely a big plus

· Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented.

· Proficient user of financial software and MS Office applications.
