Are you looking for your next career step? As Product owner of Water Technology Products User Community Platform, you will play a crucial role aligning our business growth ambitions with our clients worldwide. This role will provide you the opportunity to drive our business agenda through the development and enhancement of our web portal, support the winning and delivery of best value of our technologies.

As a product owner you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Product Vision and Strategy: Communicate the product vision and strategy for the User Community Platform, aligning it with Water and Technology Products overall goals.
• Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the key features, enhancements, and timelines for the Platform.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing, IT, customer service, and other units, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• User Experience: Improve the user experience by conducting user research, gathering feedback, and ensuring the Platform meets the needs and expectations of our users.
• Data Strategy: Define the strategy to manage and update data assets to ensure integrity, and usability across the different sections of the Platform.
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development team have clear and actionable tasks.
• Agile Development: Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, weekly stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse the performance of the Platform, using data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure the Platform remains competitive and innovative.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product features, requirements, and user stories.

As our new Product Owner, you will become part of the Water Technology Team. The Water Technology Products business unit which falls under the Water & Maritime business line delivers wastewater technologies like Nereda®, Ephyra®, Helea, and Kaumera all over the world. With more than 115 projects in 6 continents, our technologies are internationally being used for sustainable and cost-effective treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater including sludge treatment. With the ambitions of strong growth of our technology portfolio, we are looking for a colleague to strengthen our team in the Netherlands.

You will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of web technologies and user experience design. Furthermore, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably with a focus on web portals or digital products.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, user experience design, and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written english communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to lead development teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification is a plus.
