After a thorough training period, you will work independently as a welder/assembler. Based on a technical drawing, you make simple to complex constructions and/or semi-finished products. You will get started with MIG/MAG welding. Occasionally it is also about Tig welding. If you have knowledge of other disciplines, such as sawing, cutting, or (mechanical) assembling, you will also have the opportunity to perform work in this area. So there is plenty of room for variety.
In addition, you regularly consult with other departments and disciplines, such as work preparation, engineering and assembly. You are asked to think along with, for example, the engineers how they can change / adjust designs so that they can be produced more easily and efficiently. In this dynamic position, you are accountable to the Head of Workshop Department.
