Are you currently studying within Accounting & Finance and/or Tax and looking for a part-time job in an international environment? 
DHL’s VAT Compliance team performs VAT compliance activities for entities in EMEA, MENA, SSA and the APEC regions.
Submitting over 700 domestic VAT returns divided over 24 countries annually.

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Economics, Fiscal Economics, or International Business.
• You have excellent English communication skills.
• You are accurate and quality-focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.

• Practical insights into VAT processes and international trade from a financial perspective.

You will be supporting the VAT Compliance team with a wide variety of tasks in the area of VAT and 
Acccounting.

As part of the VAT Compliance team, your tasks will include:

• Reconciling current VAT accounts.
• Extracting reports from ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Assisting in preparing local VAT returns, European Sales Lists, and Intrastat declarations.
• Conducting financial data analysis for VAT reporting (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
• Supporting Foreign VAT refund claims preparation.
• Conducting VAT compliance checks.
• Querying and archiving financial documents.
