As a Reachtruck Operator, you’ll be working at a modern logistics center near Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. This cold store facility handles the storage and dispatch of fully packaged meat products. You will spend about 60% of your shift on an open reachtruck, moving goods to the correct locations in the warehouse. The remaining time, you’ll assist with general logistics tasks such as loading, unloading, and order processing.

This role involves working in a chilled environment of around 2°C, with suitable clothing and gear provided. Starting times vary depending on planning – shifts can begin at 05:00, 06:00, 07:00, or 08:00.

Your responsibilities:

• Operating an open reachtruck to move packaged goods within the cold store

• Loading and unloading pallets

• Processing incoming and outgoing shipments

• Picking and checking orders

• Maintaining accurate inventory records in the system

• Working closely with the logistics team and supporting where needed

• Proven experience as a reachtruck operator (certificate required)

• Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment

• Good communication skills in Dutch or English

• Willingness to work in a cold environment (approx. 2°C)

• Flexible availability for varied start times

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A monthly gross salary up to €3,000, depending on experience

• A long-term position with the potential for a permanent contract

• 2% year-end bonus

• Workwear suited for the cold environment

• Travel allowance if commuting more than 10 km one way
