Your responsibilities include:

• Maintain and enhance our Linux-based infrastructure to support high performance and reliability;
• Provide expert support to internal teams on hardware and software issues;
• Streamline IT operations through automation, standardization, and clear documentation;
• Manage data center equipment, including server rack installations;
• Perform regular audits to enforce security and industry compliance;
• Troubleshoot production issues remotely to ensure fast resolution;
• Oversee the full server lifecycle, from deployment to decommissioning;
• Monitor system performance and manage capacity proactively;
• Ensure trading infrastructure is consistent and ready at the start of each trading day.

Gevraagd

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field;
• 2-5 years of experience managing infrastructure and software support and working with Linux;
• Experience in servers and storage systems configuration and troubleshooting;
• Strong knowledge of open-source tools, Ansible configuration management and automation;
• Proficient with scripting (bash, python, Shell);
• Quick at analysing issues and uncovering their root causes;
• Strong communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience;
• Experience in Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Aanbod

This is a great permanent role in Amsterdam, with a base salary of 65K - 80K eur per year. Aside from the base salary there will be many other secondary benefits which we'd be happy to discuss over a phone call.
