Job Title
Operational Buyer
Job Description

The Operational Buyer is responsible for assuring timely availability of all required materials for a diversity of projects. This includes making quotes, placing orders, inventory analysis, following up orders, solving issues and work preparation.

Your role:

  • Material Procurement: Ensure timely availability of all required materials for various projects.
  • Inventory Analysis: Monitor and analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock.
  • Quoting: Prepare and manage quotes for materials and services. Request pricing, lead time and minimal order quantities at suppliers.
  • Order Placement: Place orders with suppliers and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Order Follow-Up: Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. Process order confirmations and arrange pull-ins or alternative options with suppliers where needed.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or materials.
  • Work Preparation: Prepare and organize work processes related to procurement and material management.

You're the right fit if:

  • Any purchasing, procurement or supply chain education.
  • A Minimum of 2 years of experience as an operational buyer or in material planning or supply chain management activities.
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel experience

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
