As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. As aProcess Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying and resolving bottlenecks in both existing and new processes at our site in Veghel. You’ll analyze these challenges and implement effective solutions, driving continuous improvement across operations. You’ll be part of theBusiness Support department, a team of enthusiastic colleagues supporting a multi-client warehouse that serves several leading customers in thefood industry (warehouse 1–4). Your direct teammates include both financial and process specialists.
- Optimize operational and administrative processes at the Veghel site, including automation, documentation, and drafting procedures.
- Support improvement and implementation projects to proactively meet current and future needs of both the department and our customers.
- Initiate and execute projects aimed at optimizing workflows and proposing innovative improvements.
- Guide users through new and existing procedures and applications, ensuring smooth adoption and compliance.
- A completedHBO education.
- Strong theoretical background from a similar role or relevant field of study; experience in logistics is a plus.
- Familiarity withproject management methodsor hands-on project management experience.
- Excellent command ofDutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Advancedanalytical skillsand proficiency inExcel.
- Experience withBI/dashboarding toolsis a strong advantage.
- Apositive, proactive, and pragmaticmindset.
