Amazon was founded in 1994 and now has warehouses in various locations around the world. Since July 2021, they have opened their first warehouse in the Netherlands, near Schiphol in Rozenburg. At Amazon, they work with packages of different weights. This means that this position can be physically challenging, but also very rewarding.

As a warehouse employee, you are responsible for:

• Scanning and sorting postal packages

• Order picking of products

• Preparing the packages for shipping

To ensure that the induction process runs as smoothly as possible, there are a number of things we pay attention to.

• You are available from Monday to Saturday and can work at least 3 mornings a week from 6:30 to 10:30.

• This position is physically challenging, so it is important that you have no problem with heavy work.

• In addition, mastering the English language is a plus for this position.

• A gross hourly wage of €16,15 + compensation for any overtime

• You will be offered a temporary contract with Amazon for 9 months.

• You will receive a temporary contract with a weekly payment. Whether or not there is work, you will be paid for all your contract hours every month. This is a part-time position with 10.5, 14, 17.5 or 30 contract hours per week.

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer.

• 25 vacation days per year (with full-time employment) and 8.33% vacation allowance.
