Your day starts early. At 06:00 AM, you clock in and join the team for the daily briefing. Your team leader shares safety tips and improvement points. Then you check the screen to see your expected finish time usually between 10:00 and 13:00 and how many carts need to be processed.

You put on your headset and hop onto your electric cart. Through your headphones, you hear exactly where to go. You follow the numbers in the hall and pick up your first cart. On it are flowers and plants that need to be moved to the right location.

You drive to the destination, place the cart, scan the barcode on the floor, and check if the number of pots is correct. Everything in order? Then you move on to the next one.

After a few rounds, it’s time for a break. You grab a coffee and chat with your colleagues. The atmosphere is friendly, and everyone helps each other out. You’re part of a team that keeps the process running smoothly. Before you know it, your shift is over and you clock out.

 What you’ll do:

• Move flower and plant carts to the correct locations.
• Scan floor barcodes and check quantities.
• Keep the logistics process flowing.

 What we offer:

Through Actief Werkt! you will start working at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer.Royal FloraHolland has been the link between growers and buyers of flowers for over 100 years and is the largest flower auction in the world. We operate at three locations: Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg, and Aalsmeer. With this vacancy, you are applying for the position in Aalsmeer.

Actief Werkt! has an office at the flower auction, right next to the work floor. This makes it easy for you to drop by for a chat or if you have a question. We are available for you from Monday to Friday to help you!

• A salary of €16.04 per hour, or an all-in salary of €17.73 per hour.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre (from 5 km one way).
