About the role
Role: Pioneer Account Executive
Location: Amsterdam
Language: Dutch native + English fluency
WFH policy: flexible (couple days in office ideally per week)
Role description:
You will be the first pioneer Account Executive working closely with the founders
Your main responsibility is to close deals and manage sales cycles (closing 450-500K ARR per year - with a ramp up phase)
Your second priority to help the founders transition from founder-led sales to a professional sales organisation (e.g. implementing sales strategy, sales process, tech stack enablement, and being involved in hiring, onboarding and ramping BDRs)
Your outlook is to grow into a head of sales leadership position
You will get support in business development but will also have to generate your own pipeline (50/50%)
You get to build out your own portfolio of clients and manage them
Dealcycles: 1-3 months
Target companies: Mid-Market (50-200 FTE)

Company grew 10x this year and is at the start of a strong growth journey.
They are bootstrapped and financially healthy doing several million in revenue
Must haves:
1. 3-5 years b2b sales experience (2+ years as AE in SaaS)
2. Proven track record in pipeline generation (hunting type)
2. Bachelor (HBO) +
3. Sharp, structured & strong communicator who shows a level of maturity in their way of thinking and behavior
Nice to haves:
1. Experience in building a GTM motion in early stage start-ups
2. Industry-relevant experience
3. Master degree
4. Solid SDR experience before moving into an AE role
5. Coaching experience (trained / coached peers)
Hiring process: 3-4 steps
Salary range & secondary benefits: EUR 100-120K OTE (50/50)
- Base salary is including holiday allowance
