Are you the logistics-savvy TMS expert we’re looking for?
Join our passionate team in Veghel as a Superuser Transport Management System (TMS) and help drive smart, efficient logistics solutions for our customers. If you thrive at the intersection of systems, processes, and people — this role is for you.
As an Application Specialist, you'll play a key part in implementing and optimizing our Transport Management System (TMS), using your expertise to design seamless workflows, solve technical challenges, and support business operations.
- Ensure optimal functionality and use of operational systems (WMS, TMS, Parcel Integrators, EDI, Reporting, and others), 1st and 2nd line support for users of operational applications. Liaison to 3rd line support and suppliers;
- Collaborate with business teams to deliver integrated TMS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Release management of operational applications. Definition of test procedures (test cases, test documentation) and testing of bug fixes, releases, sub-releases and RFCs;
- Training of users and superusers in operational systems, new functionalities, continuous explanation, and training of users on the use of systems, preparation, and maintenance of training materials;
- Analyse and optimize work/process flows, implementing resulting applications. Analysis of functional requirements and definition of RFCs. Supporting local superusers in the description of processes and procedures, and assisting in the implementation of these procedures.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a (large) logistics environment;
- Experience working with TMS (Oracle Transport Management) systems;
- Experience working with Parcel Integrators (Metapack, Centiro);
- Knowledgeable in SQL;
- Excellent English communication skills (Dutch is a plus);
- Able to clearly analyse problems and quickly reach a practical solution;
- Logistics knowledge is a strong advantage.
