What’s the role about?
As our next DevOps Engineer for the Data platform team, you’ll play a key part in building and running the data platform that powers insights across all of BESTSELLER’s brands. You’ll join a close-knit Platform Team within our 50-person D&A department, where data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and designers all work together to unlock the value of data.

You’ll get to:

• Own and evolve our Airflow orchestration platform, including Helm-based deployment and custom image management across environments (Dev, Prod).
• Lead DataHub development and operations — configuring ingestion from dbt, Snowflake, and more; optimizing resilience and integrations; building automations.
• Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure using Helm, Helmfile, Kubernetes, and GCP/Azure services.
• Implement and maintain secure authentication & access management across systems (Vault, Azure AD, SSO, Kubernetes auth).
• Oversee Snowflake access provisioning, automation of service principals, and cross-environment secure data access.
• Collaborate with Engineering Services (ES) to drive deployment improvements and platform stability.
• Document practices and mentor other engineers working in data infrastructure.

What you bring with you
We’re not expecting perfection. But here’s what would help you hit the ground running:

• You’ve worked in Data platform engineering, especially in a data-heavy environment
• You’re hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• You’re familiar with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infra-as-code
• You can script and automate in Python, Bash, or similar
• You enjoy working in teams, solving real problems, and learning from others

The tools we work with

• Data: Snowflake, DBT, Databricks, Kafka
• Cloud: Azure (mostly), but we value cloud-agnostic thinking
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions
• Infra: Terraform, Kubernetes
• Monitoring: DataDog
