As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete development process of industrial sensors, from requirements engineering to validation in close collaboration with external sensor suppliers. You will help develop a sensor solution for industrial environments that meets CE and ATEX certification standards. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external customers to bring a robust and market-ready product to life.
Your responsibilities:- Lead the development of industrial measurement sensors.
- Define and manage technical requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate validation and certification processes (CE, ATEX).
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure a successful product launch.
- Act as the technical point of contact within multidisciplinary teams.
- Around 10 years of experience in series development of sensors for industrial or automotive applications.
- Strong knowledge of requirement engineering, FMEA, HARA, and functional safety.
- Technical expertise in electronics, embedded software, and measurement methodologies.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., PLC).
- Familiarity with relevant directives such as LVD, ATEX, and EMC.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, even under time pressure.
- A strong drive to bring products successfully to market.
- Fluency in English.
