AWS Senior DevOps Engineer
Are you ready to design cloud infrastructure from the ground up? Do you enjoy working in a high-impact DevOps role, where your systems support millions of users and billions in transactions? Want to be part of a highly skilled team that values autonomy, learning, and collaboration over bureaucracy and blame?
My client, a fast-growing technology-driven organization, is building the infrastructure behind some of Europe’s most well-known digital platforms. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a leading role in shaping the architecture, scalability, and security of mission-critical environments, all hosted in a sophisticated AWS ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Brings deep AWS knowledge (e.g. EC2, Lambda, VPC, etc.).
- Has experience working with high-traffic, performance-sensitive platforms.
- Knows their way around Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform (or CloudFormation).
- Understands scalable architecture, containerization (Docker), and cloud automation.
- Is confident with application testing and infrastructure security best practices.
- Collaborates effectively in agile teams and values open communication.
Who gets excited about:
- Designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure in AWS from scratch.
- Working with modern tools like Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Redis, Terraform, GitLab, and more.
- Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe deployments.
- Monitoring performance, setting up alerts, and proactively preventing downtime.
- Sharing knowledge with peers and learning from (not hiding) mistakes.
- A hybrid work model with both flexibility and strong team cohesion.
