As a Technician Glob lResearch you are involved in practical lab work, data analysis, reporting and support of other lab members. You work according to the specific needs of the Research Department and Project Groups.
Key result areas (major duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities)

The technician is mainly involved in practical lab work and data analysis.Semi-independently sets up assays in the lab to develop new procedures and techniques.Executes the experimental work with little to moderate supervision.Participates in the planning of experiments and troubleshooting.Recognizes day-to-day problems and proposes solutions based on standard procedures.Supports the team by contributing to general lab tasks and activities.Communicates the daily work and results obtained to the team.Maintaining proper documentation) and reviewing electronic lab notebook (ELN) entries.
Qualifications & SkillsQualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a life sciences-related field Experience: 2–4 years of relevant laboratory experience Workload: 80–100% lab-based work Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in relevant molecular, biochemical, and/or cell-based techniques Innovation: Demonstrates curiosity and initiative in developing novel assays, methods, and procedures; actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement Independence: Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision Knowledge Transfer: Able to train colleagues and transfer assays clearly and effectively Presentation: Communicates experimental findings in a clear, concise, and structured manner Documentation: Maintains accurate and thorough records in electronic lab notebooks (ELNs) Organization: Well-structured and detail-oriented approach to experimental work Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Specialized Experience Requirements Strong background in molecular biology and biochemical techniques, including: Plasmid purification and characterization (e.g., miniprep, maxiprep) Nucleic acid extraction (DNA and RNA) PCR and quantitative PCR (qPCR) Western blotting Bioluminescence-based reporter assays (e.g., luciferase or NanoLuc-based systems). Proficiency in processing and analyzing animal tissues and biofluids for DNA, RNA, and protein assays, including work under Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) conditions. Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques, including: Routine maintenance, passaging, and cryopreservation of cell lines Use of aseptic/sterile technique in a biosafety cabinet Preparation of sterile media and reagents Conducting cell-based reporter assays, including transient or stable transfection and assay optimization
