As HR Director – dnata Netherlands, you will develop and deliver a strategic people plan, partnering with the Executive Team to ensure alignment with group and country level business priorities. Working in a matrix structure with multiple stakeholders, you will collaborate with Head Office HR and the local leadership team to define, develop, and execute HR initiatives to enable the successful achievement of business objectives.

You will lead all related HR functions at a country level and collaborate with the global HR network to drive priorities as per the agreed plan, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, retention and development, culture and engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, training, and HR operations.

In this role you will: 

  • Develop and execute HR strategy across Amsterdam operations in collaboration with global partners.

  • Lead and inspire the Amsterdam HR team across Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Training & Resource Planning.

  • Drive employee engagement through data-driven insights and culture initiatives.

  • Manage union and works council relationships, leading on sector CLA negotiations and policy updates for dnata with respective parties.

  • Oversee senior-level recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development.

  • Ensure compliance with employment law, and industry-specific regulations.

  • Lead organisational design and change management projects.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders and partners.

  • Create and manage the HR department’s annual budget.

  • VMV: Drives the dnata Vision, Mission and Values (VMVs) in the business and models the behaviours and intent of the VMV’s in all people leadership practices.



Gevraagd

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of work experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a multi-national organisation.

  • Experience of working within a multi-stakeholder environment and highly regulated operational business environment.

  • Proven track record of managing complex change/ transformation projects and experienced in coaching managers through this, leading where necessary.

  • Strong country HR experience, including application of employment legislation, HR processes, and best practice across relevant jurisdiction(s).

  • Commercial acumen and ability to influence at executive level.

  • Strong industrial / employee relations expertise. With specific experience of managing companywide industrial relations within a unionised environment including the planning and coordination of sector CLA negotiations and communications.

  • Data oriented, including to provide insights and recommendations to drive decision making.

  • The right to live and work in the Netherlands. 

  • Fluency in English and Dutch.

  • Eligibility to obtain airside security clearances (no legal restrictions).
