We are seeking a Senior Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to strengthen the finance team in Nieuwegein. In this role, you will take ownership of monthly close processes, ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements and automation projects.

Description

Lead the monthly financial close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting on gross profit.
Ensure accuracy and compliance by analysing and reconciling financial data.
Prepare detailed analyses and supporting documentation for audits.
Collaborate on finance transformation projects, focusing on automation and process improvements.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial insights.

Profile

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Brings 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting or auditing.
Skilled in Excel with strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong communicator, comfortable interacting with various stakeholders
