Your new role:
As a Lab Technician, you will play a key role in supporting product development and innovation within the laboratory. You’ll work closely with multiple project leaders and cross-functional teams, providing hands-on laboratory support and contributing to the generation, documentation, and communication of experimental data. You’ll become a subject-matter expert in specific test methods, conducting experiments and continuously improving their precision and accuracy through statistical analysis. In addition to supporting broader development efforts, you’ll also lead small-scale tactical projects focused on product improvements, cost optimisation, and regulatory-driven reformulations. This is a dynamic role that offers both collaborative teamwork and the opportunity to take ownership of your work. 


What you’ll need to succeed:
The successful candidate should have:

A practical understanding of chemistry, supported by an MLO 4 or MBO 4-level technical degree in a chemistry-related field.Experience working in a laboratory environment, with familiarity in experimental design and analysis of various chemical techniques.Strong written and verbal communication skills.The ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.Experience using statistical software for data analysis.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


What you’ll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start for at least 6 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. In this position, you will get a competitive salary (€2600 - €3100 gross per month based on 40 hours per week) and your travel expenses are covered.
