As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for managing procurement processes within our company. You play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring high-quality purchasing decisions.
Description
As a Technical Buyer, your responsibilities include:
- Selecting and evaluating suppliers based on quality and cost - "meet or beat";
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and purchasing agreements;
- Monitoring delivery times and resolving any bottlenecks;
- Collaborating with internal departments such as engineering;
- Understanding and translating technical drawings into procurement requirements;
- Creating item numbers and purchase lists to ensure immediate action can be taken when an order is received;
- Optimizing procurement processes.
Profile
As a Technical Buyer, you have the following profile:
- A completed education in a relevant technical or business-related field;
- Excellent command of the English language;
- Experience with procurement processes and contract negotiations;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- The ability to work independently and results-oriented;
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
