In this position as Accountant you report to the Finance Director and contribute to the success of the Accounting department being a specialist in VAT declaration and working with multiple currencies.
Description
- Daily bank bookings in several currencies
- Preparing payment orders
- Processing and checking incoming invoices
- Prepare sales invoices
- Credit control and communication with our customers
- Maintaining correspondence with international debtors and creditors mainly through email
- Monthly / Quarterly VAT returns in various jurisdictions
- End of month checks and preparation of (monthly) management reports
- Exchange information with the Trading and Logistics Department
Profile
- Have at least 3 years of accounting experience in an international company
- Experience working with multiple currencies
- Experienced with VAT declarations
- The person involved must be a team player, flexible and accurate.
- Should be able to work under pressure from time to time
- In the possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree
- Comfortable with working under pressure
- Strong drive and ambition to succeed
- Highly organised and proactive person
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Any other languages are a big plus
- Flexible mindset and excellent social and communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft office applications
- Experience in MS Dynamics (preferred)
