Your daily tasks will include:

• Manage the full accounts receivable process for the German market, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments;
• Monitor customer payment behavior and follow up via phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and courteous manner;
• Review and maintain accurate billing and customer account information in collaboration with the sales and customer service teams;
• Conduct credit checks and assess risk levels for new and existing customers, advising on appropriate credit limits;
• Generate and analyze aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and other key AR metrics to support financial planning;
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and customer disputes promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to cash flow;
• Escalate high-risk or problematic accounts to internal stakeholders or external legal partners when necessary;
• Maintain accurate records of communications, payments, and account status in ERP systems;
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures related to AR and credit control;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing credit management processes and systems.

Gevraagd

In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred);
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable;
• Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal) is essential, additional languages (French, Italian, or Dutch) preferred;
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred); familiarity with Exenta or Credit Device is a plus;
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-oriented mindset;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
