As a part-time warehouse employee at Royal FloraHolland, you will work as an order picker. Your day starts at 5:45 a.m., giving you time to prepare your equipment and enjoy a coffee or tea. At 6:00 a.m., the team gathers for a briefing to go over important updates before heading to the warehouse floor.

What does the order picker role involve? You’ll drive an electric cart to collect flower trolleys from the warehouse and connect it to your headset. The headset provides step-by-step instructions on where to deliver the flowers and how many buckets to place at each stop. Once your trolley is empty, you pick up another, repeating the process with your team until all trolleys are sorted.

Your finishing time depends on the workload for the day. Generally, shifts end between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., though some days may finish slightly earlier or later.
